Our regular filmmaking club supports young people aged 8- 18 with additional needs, guided by young volunteers who once took part in the group themselves. Their experiences make them powerful role models, while also giving them opportunities to continue their own personal growth and development.

The group is supported by experienced youth workers and a professional filmmaker.

Young people attending the group have the opportunity to build confidence, develop valuable skills for the future, raise their aspirations, and connect with like-minded peers in a safe, supportive environment.

Young people can take part in a wide range of filmmaking activities, including:
– Creating plasticine animations
– Developing digital animation projects
– Building drama and performance skills
– Learning the ins and outs of pre-production
– Creating live-action short films
– Editing using professional software

There are also plenty of opportunities to showcase their work at events and have their films featured on our YouTube channel, helping them celebrate their achievements and share their creativity with a wider audience.
