SUMMARY:Steve Ferbrache\, Matt Hill
DESCRIPTION:Original Folk-Roots from award winning Singer\, songwriter and guitarist. \nSTEVE FERBRACHE\n“An incredible songwriter\, and one hell of a voice!” – Seasick Steve\n“A very fine guitar picker\, reminds me of early Paul Simon” – Wizz Jones\n“Definitely a class above – his easy charm and twinkling humour would win over the most battle weary” – Music Riot \nSaved from a route to ruin in his teens by the folk clubs of North Wales and later taken around the world by his award winning Americana/Roots band The Achievers\, Steve Ferbrache has some stories to tell. \nHis new solo project charts a life come good – from serious mental illness to a recovered family man seeking to share and inspire through his music. Poetically articulate songwriting and highly-accomplished\, unobstrusive finger-style guitar are just two aspects of his engaging and inspiring concerts. Drawing influences from both traditional British folk music and American roots & old-time styles his songs are driven by message and melody – often disarmingly open\, encouraging close connection between artist and audience. \nKnown internationally for his master stage-craft\, story telling and relaxed\, convivial live performances\, Steve Ferbrache is committed to leaving audiences better than he found them – even after they’ve explored some of the toughest aspects of life together. \nSUPPORT ACT : MATT HILL\n“A very gifted songwriter and a master of telling stories” – HI-FI PLUS MAGAZINE\n“An absolute gem. Hill is an incredibly talented writer” – MORNING STAR ALBUM OF THE YEAR\n“He gathers his songs around him and weaves them into works of wonder” – ROCK N REEL \nMatt’s songs tell of loves lost and won\, and speak of history and community. He is much in demand for his work co-writing songs with those pushed to the edges of society. He has written and recorded songs with people who are homeless\, people living in prison and people with dementia. Twenty years ago his debut album was voted Americana UK Album of the Year. Since then he’s toured the UK and Europe\, had radio play on BBC 6Music and performed at Glastonbury festival.
